Bluebird is an easy girl. While we fight "Boy" to take off his Superman underwear and comply with letting him wear his superman pajamas under his clothing (so he never has to remove them), she gladly wears whatever pajamas we bring out for her...whether they be two sizes too small, hand-me-down boy pajamas covered with cars, or just a big t-shirt. She is a binkie, blankie and baby girl...but she is not so specific over which binkie, blankie or baby...so long as she has the trio.
Recently I had a sweet conversation with her about Santa Claus.
Me: "What would you like Santa to bring you for Christmas?"
Bluebird: "A present."
Me: "What kind of present?"
Bluebird: (pause, while she ponders the question)"A Blue one."
So, we shall tell Santa to find our Bluebird a "Blue present".
